My file will not open or looks corrupted
The download probably did not finish
A file that opens as a blank page, throws a "damaged or corrupted" error, or is far smaller than expected is usually an interrupted download rather than a bad file.
- Delete the file you have — a partial file will not repair itself.
- Download it again on a stable connection, and let it finish completely before opening.
- Open it with a proper reader rather than a preview pane. On Windows try Adobe Acrobat Reader; on Mac try Preview.
If the file opens but looks wrong
Missing images or odd characters usually mean the app being used does not fully support the format. Try a different reader from the list of recommended apps.
If it is genuinely faulty
Tell us which book it is and what you see. We will check the source file and send you a working copy — or refund you under the 30-day guarantee if we cannot.
