Why is there a charge I do not recognise?

If a charge from DayDreamz appears on your statement and you are not sure what it is, it is almost always one of three things.

1. A book order

Book prices vary by title, and the amount will match the order confirmation email you were sent. The charge appears close to the date you placed the order.

2. A VIP Club membership payment

The DayDreamz VIP Club starts with a 2-day free trial and then bills $42.00 every 30 days, renewing automatically until it is cancelled. If you used the VIP Add to Cart button on a product page, you joined the VIP Club as part of that purchase. This is the charge people most often do not recognise, because it recurs every 30 days once the free trial ends.

3. A card authorisation that was never completed

If a payment failed, your bank may still show a temporary authorisation hold. These drop off on their own, usually within a few business days, and no money is actually taken.

Not sure which one applies? Send us the last four digits of the card and the date of the charge and we will identify it for you. Please do not include the full card number.
